OK. If you only are here for 2 articles this visit, you are in luck - this one is much shorter.
Grab on to the trapezius.
Without the tips of your thumbs touching the recipient, place your hands on their trapezius. Then, go ahead and squeeze away. The same rules apply, as you have read earlier, but I you really can’t be told too many times:
* Make certain to not dig your fingertips in between the clavicle and the trapezius.
* Each squeeze should take about two seconds to complete. One Mississippi, two Mississippi. If you go too fast, you are doing more work, but not really creating any results.

Now, when you massage like this, you can do it BI-laterally, which is squeezing with both sides at the same time, or UNI-laterally, which is one side at a time. If the recipient is very relaxed, their heads will move side to side as you squeeze.
Why is this important?
Easy. If you would only use technique # 1, the massage would be over in less time than it took to read the article. Id like to call massage one of those “minute to learn, lifetime to master” things. Except that it isn’t a board game with virtually no impact on your existence.
Tragically, this “minute to learn” means that someone has to show you for a minute(this is a perfect substitute for that), how to not wear your thumbs out. Read this article, if you want to believe that you can be a great massage therapist.
Switching up techniques.
Now, you actually know enough about massage to begin this journey of massaging each other. Alternate between the “thumbs and four fingers, and this technique above, the “heels of your hands and 4 fingers”, and you won’t tire your thumbs out too quickly.
But don’t stop there. This infomation is fit to be re-read, so make certain to skim these articles again in the future. If you have time NOW, please read the next three articles, as the information there is probably needed to be read before you can massage each other through the length of an entire movie.
One last thing:
When you massage each other, don’t massage for more than 10 minutes at a time. If you go too long, the recipient might get too tired and relaxed to reciprocate.
